Singapore – Interestingly, Singapore is the only country to celebrate Nurses Day on 1st August. The other countries celebrate it on 12 May.
In a collaboration between Food Empire and Majeton, the month of August was chosen to bless nurses
around Singapore. Food Empire supplied instant 3in1 beverage mix, while staff of Majeton went around
private clinics in Singapore distributing it to nurses.
While being a nurse might be one of the most underappreciated profession in the world, let’s not forget that nurses form the backbone of our healthcare system and the key to the health of all nations. A small appreciation to them will go a long way.
